2026 Computing Network Development Conference & 4th AI Computing Industry Expo Successfully Held in Beijing

Co-hosted by the China Information Industry Association and the Peng Cheng Laboratory, the conference adopted an innovative “1+1+N” event framework. Centering on infrastructure building, industrial integration, collaborative development and empowered application, the conference focused on key industry directions including new computing infrastructure, network-computing integration, power-computing coordination, green intelligent computing and AI agent innovation, building a collaborative platform for industry, academia, research and investment.

During the opening speeches, industry leaders pointed out that the construction of a national computing network is a systematic national project. The industry needs to continuously optimize computing scheduling systems, advance core technological research, improve professional operation and maintenance capabilities, and build a safe, inclusive and efficient computing infrastructure system. All market participants are encouraged to strengthen coordinated cooperation to support the steady implementation of the national integrated computing network strategy.

Academicians and Experts Release Forward-looking Judgments

Industry think tanks proposed a systematic development framework featuring “five hardware foundations and three soft mechanisms”, covering computing monitoring and scheduling platforms, multi-level computing facilities, transmission infrastructure and security systems, as well as supporting mechanisms including unified standards, market-oriented operation and industrial governance systems, providing clear implementation guidelines for national computing network development.

Leading Enterprises Showcase Practical Innovation Achievements

Representatives from leading enterprises including Huawei Ascend, Sugon, and China Telecom Tianyi Cloud shared industrial practices and innovative achievements in open-source ecological construction, supercomputing internet, heterogeneous computing convergence, power-computing coordination and new computing service models. Two roundtable forums focused on urban computing network construction, AI agent application and computing token economy, discussing industrial planning, cross-domain collaboration, localized ecological development and standardized operation mechanisms.

Capital Empowerment Boosts Long-term Industrial Growth

Considering the large investment scale, long construction cycle and rapid technological iteration of computing infrastructure, the conference jointly launched an industrial development initiative with 17 financial institutions and industrial funds. The initiative focuses on infrastructure construction, technological innovation, standardized investment and ecological co-construction, aiming to build a diversified investment and financing system and drive long-term capital support for the computing industry. Meanwhile, an award ceremony for data element innovation competitions was held to encourage integrated innovation of computing and data elements.
