Recently, the main construction works of the Phase I new project of China Unicom Qingyang Data Center have been fully completed. The project has officially entered the critical stage of outdoor supporting facilities and electromechanical installation. With steady progress across all construction procedures, it is planned to be completed, delivered and officially put into operation in September 2026.

Located in the national core computing power industrial park of the 'East Data, West Computing' project in Qingyang, Gansu Province, this project is a key engineering initiative of the national integrated computing power network hub. The overall park is planned with a total investment of 3.4 billion yuan. Four data center buildings will be constructed in phases, capable of delivering 120,000 P of standard computing power upon full completion to undertake large-scale national computing power scheduling services.

With a total investment of 1.63 billion yuan, the ongoing Phase I project covers one four-story standard main data center building and two auxiliary gatehouses, boasting a total construction area of approximately 23,000 square meters and a building height of 25 meters. It adopts a high-standard computer room layout with one underground floor and four above-ground floors. Once completed, the project can accommodate 8,000 high-power-density cabinets with an IT load capacity of 144 megawatts. It will mainly undertake high-heat computing businesses such as AI training and big data storage from eastern regions including the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and the Yangtze River Delta, effectively easing the computing power pressure of data centers in eastern China and realizing cross-regional optimized allocation of computing power resources between the east and west.

As a core carrier for implementing the national 'East Data, West Computing' strategy, Qingyang leverages its local wind and photovoltaic new energy resources to build a green and low-carbon computing power cluster. Adapted to the heat dissipation demands of current high-power-consumption servers, Phase I of China Unicom Qingyang Data Center is equipped with large-scale liquid cooling circulation pipeline systems to deliver stable cooling solutions for high-heat-density cabinets, serving as a typical implementation case for heat supporting facilities of new-generation intelligent computing computer rooms.

After operation, the project will further improve the layout of China’s eight major national computing power hub networks, narrow the gap in digital economic development between eastern and western regions, and consolidate the foundation for Qingyang to build a national-level computing power industrial highland. With the project set to launch in September, demands for large-scale liquid cooling pipelines, cooling hoses and CDU supporting equipment will keep rising, opening up broad market prospects for the liquid cooling supporting track of computing power computer rooms.

Moving forward, our company will continue to delve into the field of liquid cooling fluid supporting products for data centers. Targeting high-power heat dissipation scenarios of large-scale intelligent computing computer rooms, we will provide standardized EPDM cooling hoses and complete pipeline solution packages, and deeply participate in the construction of major hub computer rooms under the national 'East Data, West Computing' initiative to facilitate the high-quality development of green computing power infrastructure.

Jiayida (Suzhou) Fluid Power Technology Co., Ltd. focuses on providing one-stop liquid cooling fluid system solutions and services for data center scenarios. The product portfolio covers OCP-standard UQD, UQDB and BMQC quick disconnect couplings, water manifold assemblies, Continental EPDM hoses and hose assemblies, FF9 full-flow double interlock quick disconnect ball valves as an alternative to FD83 series products, API heat exchangers, Gates data center-dedicated EPDM hoses, as well as WIKA pressure gauges and sensors from Germany.
