KRES FF9 Full‑Flow Dual‑Interlock Liquid‑Cooling Quick‑Change Ball Valve
FF9 is an independently‑developed full‑flow dual‑interlock liquid‑cooling quick‑change ball valve by North‑American‑based KRES. Intellectual property rights have been filed for the United States and the European Union. Widely deployed in data‑center liquid cooling and industrial fluid‑transfer industries, FF9 is mainly applied for secondary‑side piping connections in data‑center liquid‑cooling systems. Purpose‑built for data centers, it delivers safe, user‑friendly operation with high cost‑performance.
Product Features
- 100% full‑flow design: The bore size of FF9 dual‑interlock ball valve reaches up to 21 mm / 38 mm. It achieves high flow rate with low pressure drop. SGS RoHS report and CTI performance test report are available.
- Dual‑interlock mechanism: Two‑stage locking structure prevents accidental disconnection to guarantee operational safety.
- Identical coupling halves: Simplifies maintenance, installation and field service.
- Reliable stable performance with minimal spillage: Satisfies maintenance requirements for safe equipment relocation and safe shutdown.
- Standard body material: 304 stainless steel with broad fluid compatibility; alternative materials available upon request.
- Standard seal material: EPDM; alternative sealing materials available upon request.
- Operating temperature: ‑40 ℃ ~ 120 ℃
Advantages
- Rotary tail structure: Enables easy connection / disconnection without hose twisting, avoiding hose damage.
- Corrosion‑resistant 304 stainless‑steel construction.
- Identical coupling halves: No need to distinguish male‑female orientation during system setup and installation.
- Drop‑in replacement for FD83 series ball valves, including:FD83‑2052‑16‑16FD83‑2140‑16‑16FD83‑2046‑16‑16FD83‑2126‑32‑32FD83‑2052‑32‑32

Operating Instructions
- Simple connection: Align both halves and rotate to couple.
- Open circuit: Rotate lever to open the valve.
- Close circuit: Rotate lever to shut off the valve.
- Safe disconnection: After lever rotation cuts off fluid flow, rotate to separate couplings. Both FF9 halves remain closed to prevent leakage.
